The Fort Wayne Community Schools Clothing Bank provides clothing to thousands of students each year. FWCS students receive clothes, shoes, coats, toiletries and other items as needed due to poverty, homelessness, or following a disaster, such as a flood or fire. Students are referred to the Clothing Bank by a case manager or counselor at their school. The Clothing Bank operates with the support of cash donations, and donations of new and gently-used clothing.
While there are needs year-round, we are collecting hats, gloves, and winter coats, as well as cash donations, during the month of January. To donate, please reach out to any agent or staff at The Douglass Home Team. In addition, we have a donation barrel in our main office at 824 Mill Lake Road, Fort Wayne, IN.
